The Bull Durham Casino received it’s name following the painting of the exterior tobacco advertisement in 1912.
The property has seen many establishments in it’s time and has since become a Colorado landmark. In the 1880’s, the building was used as a wagon works and later was used as a livery stable and blacksmith shop. In later years, the building was restored and used as an art studio and store. Bull Durham Casino began it’s business in February of 1993 and has been expanding and flourishing since.
Today you will find a quaint slot house nestled in the heart of Black Hawk; filled with the sounds of jackpots and the smell of our famous Hot Dogs! It’s too bad we weren’t around during the Gold Rush. It would’ve been much easier to strike rich!
